WELCOME!

WHAZZUP? is an educational network for young people to share their learning, interests, passions and concerns with peers in other countries. It is also a forum for teachers to develop intercultural and online educational ideas.

We will continue along the same lines of the first WHAZZUP? project in 2008-2009, which was part of Asia-Europe classroom net, AEC-NET. On two consecutive years (2009 and 2010), WHAZZUP? won the AEC-NET Award.

Now we have decided to open the network to schools from other continents, too. If you are a teacher interested in bringing some students along, please contact me by email first (sinikkalw [at] gmail.com). Students can only join through initial contact from their teacher, and network organiser's approval. Underneath is a list of all the different activities that your students can get involved with.

PROFILE PAGE - read these guidelines carefully and remember to write an introduction in the TEXT BOX
DISCUSSION FORUM - be active, start discussions, ask questions and comment back
BLOGS - write more in-depth articles in more formal style following these guidelines
COMMENTING - take an interest in what other students write and comment actively - see these guidelines
PHOTOS AND VIDEOS - give them a proper name and a short explanation in English, comment on other people's photos and always follow Copyright rules
EVERYWHERE - always follow our Netiquette
CHAT - whenever online, check the chat bar on the bottom of the page to see who else is online, and have a real-time chat!

MOST OF ALL, HAVE FUN AND LEARN FROM EACH OTHER!

LATEST NEWS! LATEST NEWS! LATEST NEWS! LATEST NEWS!

CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!
WHAZZUP? team was one of the Award winners for the second year running, at the 9th AEC-NET conference in India. Thank you, each and every one, for your active participation and great contributions!
